About the Company
Mid-State Metal Works has been an established precision sheet metal fabricator since 1986. Our machine shop was added in 2019, giving us an even greater capacity to serve our customers. We specialize in precision sheet metal fabrication, quick turn prototype, short & medium-run precision sheet metal manufacturing, CNC machining and light mechanical assembly. And we’re looking for great people to join our team.

Current Openings
WILL TRAIN
We are looking for someone with a passion / interest in the machine shop / fabricating shop world. Some technical training would be value-added, but going to school while working full-time is fine too. No experience necessary. He / she will start out staging hardware, working on finishing, deburring etc, and will be trained as she / he progresses and expresses interest. This is an excellent opportunity to establish a career in the machine and fabrication industry, with on-the-job training and potential for moving up or advancing.

Now hiring a Press Brake Operator: 2+ years experience with Amada equipment & including set-up preferred. Self-motivated, hard-working individuals only please.

CNC LATHE MACHINIST – BLAINE, MN
Experience in running a HAAS CNC Lathe or Mill preferred. Must be able to work independently, read and interpret engineering drawings, inspect work using various measuring instruments, and work from verbal or written instructions or sketches.
